For the first time ever… I actually find myself agreeing with Tony Blair here. Can’t believe I’m saying that. Even Blair is now questioning the logic of Britain hammering its own economy with expensive net zero policies while countries like China, India and America continue prioritising cheap energy. Britain produces under 1% of global emissions, yet we’re shutting down our own oil and gas industry and piling costs onto ordinary people and businesses. That’s the bit many people are struggling to understand.
