@DebbiePtweet @harbourbirds @JoeSamuelParker @gardenbirder1 Hi Debbie, I used to put apples on the ground but found the birds prefer if the apple is off the ground. I core the apple out a bit and push it onto a tree or bush branch. Also makes it easier to take photos!

Today excited to hear a Stonechat very near my garden for the first time but couldn't see it. A Chiffchaff briefly appeared this week. Learned its not only Blackbirds & Blackcaps that eat apples! @harbourbirds @JoeSamuelParker @gardenbirder1 @DebbiePtweet
