Prayers for the family and Ashlee can finally rest. It's only because of the families advocating and not giving up to demand a search of the landfill that she and the others were found. #familiesfirst 💙🙏

Hey @GlobalCalgary next year you might want to consider having an actual Indigenous veteran on the early morning news story explain the history of Indigenous veterans rather than a white male who actually shared WHITEWASHED INCORRECT INFORMATION!! @fieldofredcrosses

On behalf of the Government of Alberta, I would like to congratulate President-elect @realDonaldTrump and Vice President-elect @JDVance on their victory. Alberta and the United States have a long standing trading partnership that has strengthened both economies and improved quality of life in both jurisdictions. Alberta is a critical part of North American energy security as the single largest supplier of crude oil and natural gas to the United States – providing twice as twice as much as Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Iraq combined. We look forward to reinforcing Alberta’s ties in the United States and working together with the new administration on this partnership.

As we approach National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Sept 30, you may see or hear comments like these on social media or during conversations. The truth about residential schools is important for every Canadian to learn. Without truth, there can be no reconciliation.

This Wednesday the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) will publicly apologize for its role, and the role of the medical profession, in the past and ongoing harms to First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples in the Canadian health system. The ceremony will be held on the traditional territory of the lək̓ wəŋiʔnəŋ speaking people of Songhees and Xwsepsum Nations. WATCH THIS Powerful film The Unforgotten produced by the CMA depicting racism experienced by Indigenous peoples at the link here: theunforgotten.cma.ca/film/unforgott…

👏👏 National Indigenous Peoples Month 👏👏 My mother getting released from the prison of Lebret residential school in her forced catholic clothes, to me fighting colonization most of my life, to my daughter proudly wearing her ribbon skirt with pride. Remember the truths ‼️

Honoured to sit with fellow matriarchs on the Indigenous Women in Leadership panel today at the WIL Summit. "Changing western leadership models to fit Indigenous people is vital if we are to see Indigenous natural born leaders in corporations." One of the thoughts I shared today.

My sister was dropped off in minis 40 winter weather outside of Calgary to "walk" back. She died after falling down the times. Ribbon skirts no matter who wears them in RCMP is not reconciliation.
Debbie, Member of the House of Merciless Savages@ironbow

This is far more common than anyone knows. RCMP left me on a highway in rural SK over 50 kms from my mom's home on Christmas day. No one was on the road and I almost died. I peeled the skin in full from giant blisters of freezing off of my hands and feet. 🪶💔😡 Ribbon skirts

Lovely VIP dinner on the eve of the @forward_summit Was so nice to see Mark Little, he sure is missed! Seen many friends and fellow leadership council members. Was busy visiting and eating and didn't get photos with everyone, but the next two days at the summit I will get more!
