Someone consulted me about jazz under the Nazi regime, and it reminded me of the 10 alleged rules for performers. The source is Josef Skvorecky's The Bass Saxophone, a work of fiction—so it was never clear whether these were real or made-up (or a mix of both). But very evocative!
