@marieswift Thanks for sharing Marie. Fantastic performance! I still think the music put out in the 70s is still the best.

@tinacpowell @FAMagazine You look great! Thank God you’re a hard-headed woman that doesn’t quit! 👏

@AdviserCounsel @robertsofia I totally agree. You posted my sentiments exactly.
English

@robertsofia I fully agree. No matter how good AI gets, people will want to work with people. Planning is subjective and personal. It’s called personal financial planning for a reason.
I think this is more true as you go up the wealth ladder too.

Enjoying a special moment on the T3 walk of fame. Thank you @t3techhub for a fabulous 20 year run! #T32024 was epic.

Having a star on the @t3techhub Walk of Fame is well deserved by Impact's tireless leader @marieswift, who just finished putting the epic 20th Anniversary conference in the record books.

@marieswift What nerve! This is not OK. (They should have at least used red ink instead of orange!) 😁

@GavinNewsom Congratulations @LaphonzaButler! I look forward to witnessing how you lead the fight for all Californians. Keep breaking those glass ceilings!

I'm proud to announce California's new United States Senator -- Laphonza Butler.
As we mourn the enormous loss of Sen. Feinstein, the very freedoms she fought for -- reproductive freedom, equal protection, and safety from gun violence -- have never been under greater assault.
Laphonza has spent her entire career fighting for women and girls and has been a fierce advocate for working people.
She will make history -- becoming the first Black lesbian to openly serve in the U.S. Senate.
From her time as President of EMILY's List to leading the state's largest labor union, she has always stood up for what is right and has led with her heart and her values.
I have no doubt she will carry the baton left by Senator Feinstein, continue to break glass ceilings, and fight for all Californians in Washington.

@suneelyadkikar @sikka_harinder @suneelyadkikar I agree with your perspective. The combination of great doctors leveraging great AI and ML can likely catapult advancements in healthcare forward in ways we couldn’t have imagined. This could be a complete game changer if it is handled correctly.
English

I understand that my previous comment may have come across as dismissive of the vital role that doctors play in our healthcare system. That was not my intention, and I apologize if it was taken that way.
The advancements in AI and ML are indeed revolutionary and have enormous potential to transform various sectors, including healthcare. However, when I mentioned the possibility of a future where we might say "Goodbye to Doctors," it was not to imply that doctors would become obsolete or redundant. Far from it.
Instead, it was a commentary on how the very nature of their work might evolve with these new technologies.
AI tools like predictive analysis, image recognition, and natural language processing are powerful aids that can augment a doctor's capabilities, making them more efficient and precise. They can help doctors diagnose conditions earlier, plan treatment more effectively, and monitor patient progress in real-time.
But these tools are just that - tools. They cannot replace the human touch, the empathy, the years of experience, and the instinct that a doctor brings to their practice. They are aids meant to enhance, not replace. So, while technology will indeed change how healthcare is delivered, it will not replace the need for skilled, empathetic healthcare professionals.
We are at the precipice of a new era, one where technology and human expertise can work hand in hand to create better healthcare outcomes. As we navigate this transition, it's crucial to remember that change is a constant part of growth. In the words of Pearl Buck, "The secret of joy in work is contained in one word - excellence. To know how to do something well is to enjoy it." Let's strive for excellence in adopting these new tools and continue to enjoy the work we do for the betterment of human health.
I hope this clarifies my stance. Once again, I have the utmost respect for all healthcare professionals, and my intention was never to undermine their importance.

Update 🫁 Last chemo treatment was 1 week ago. Today is chemo day 8 and it’s still lingering. About a dozen or so side-effects at once. It’s like being imprisoned in a living hell. This one was brutal. It is also the last one. I will never look at a cancer patient quite the same ever again.
