Did you know there are currently mRNA vaccines in the works for sarcoma? One just opened for osteosarcoma at UF? I learned about this from my new friends at @FLASCO_ORG#FLASCOfellows
@HouseLyndseyRN Do you know why she needed the 3 vaccines? Because PNH with abnormal CD55 and CD59 means she can’t fight off certain infections. We have a ton of patients with PNH who’ve all been vaccinated. It is very unfortunate that she developed this reaction, but it is extremely rare.
yall she went to hospital to be treated for PNH which is a blood disorder- her hemoglobin was 3.1 and they gave her blood to bring it back up
📢📢🚨🚨 i guarantee you the blood they gave her prob had spike protein in it- even though red cross says they check prior i am calling that a huge LIE
the specialist saw her after and stated before she could treat her PNH she was required to get those three vaccines- she took em and within minutes this is what happened
@flasco has been an eye opening experience . Today I learned that there are many resources through @society_florida to discover other aspects of heme/onc that are just as important as clinical oncology, such as advocacy, policy, and community outreach. #flascofellow
