@PlayerGaelic The tackle being a skill of the game is being completely overlooked in every code. Camogie are punishing the attacker for steps time and time again when being held and wrapped. The ball has become irrelevant at club. Reffing contact appropriately is exactly what all codes need.

If the GAA wants to make the game even more competitive than it is right now, it should train referees how to spot and reward good tackling.
Players who time tackles after four steps and force ball carriers to overcarry, are not being rewarded for their skill.

@GaelicSense A shot clock over 60+ minutes on a full pitch would dramatically increase physical demands on players.
The game has been a pleasure to watch this season and that set play was a brilliant example of skill and execution at the highest level.

While the score is brilliant, phases of play like this will quicken the calls for the introduction of a shot clock. Will we eventually see a team keep possession from the 30th min to the hooter?
New rules = positive
But areas to improve also.
