I've been watching the hype comments all day for this. Here's my non-troll prediction of what weill happen - Visually, we already see that they've listened and the trailer looked fantastic - Tuning... We've had approximately a decade of tuning feedback, most of which preferencing Gnasher / fluid gameplay. We've had tests such as the Gears 5 no wall cancel event, Gears 5's flop of Shot Delay / No health regen whilst bouncing. Each time, it's proven unpopular. We've also had UE & Reloaded, both of which quickly lost interest of the community. Based upon this, I think that the obvious and quite frankly, only logical, outcome is a perfect tuning (If this part is wrong at this stage, there's no excuse) - Maps, Hopefully they've looked at what made the originals better. I do think they'll have done so but I'm a bit concerned they're going to throw in their own spin because players kept saying they wanted fresh stuff like BR. I'm hoping they're not overly open, but I think they're going to get this mostly right - Connection / Matchmaking. I really hope they've improved this but based on experience from TC games, I'm really expecting this to be a problem again - Overall as a game, I think it'll be mostly brilliant HOWEVER I expect players to go right back to playing in the same way that wrecked Gears 4 and 5. Lancering and camping, complaining about wall bouncing... In which case, I expect to see this game, despite being brilliant, lose player interest within 6 months. It'll be entirely the players' fault and those players will then treat this game as a "placeholder" waiting for Gears 6, pushing hype towards wanting another Gears for them to ruin again. I don't think TC will be the problem this time

Those who advocate for revolution/violence don’t have any clue what follows or happens in the meantime. Maybe they’re educated enough to know. But inexperienced to feel what it’s like. I have. If you want to drive people to revolution and violence (one and the same) then you should do it with the understanding that MANY people will suffer and die during and after.

Protesting is all well and good if you want catharsis or to stroke your ego and feel like you’re “doing something,” but it amounts to begging your masters to do it for you when they could not care less about your tantrums in the streets. They have the guns and authority, and you continue to give your consent to the system that allows them to trample your rights. If you actually want change, you’re going to have to create it yourself, not delude yourself into thinking ruling class authoritarians are going to magically change course because you held a sign and yelled.
