@therlwrites I had a mental breakdown a week ago and I finally got help through the VA, they got on some meds that are helping for right now. I feel happy and excited to work on my videos again instead of thinking of them as work. Plus I got The Stuff on 4K…love that movie!

Anyone have any good news or positive things going on in their life they wanna share? Would appreciate a good vibe or two at the moment, let’s hear it..

@WhittersRichard @MattBraynard Also, I believe that language is ever evolving. So while decimate was referring to a percentage originally, the common parlance is quite the opposite.

@WhittersRichard @MattBraynard I thought the etymology of pet peeve was from "pet" meaning something cherished in an ironic sense coupled with "peeve" which is an annoyance. Would that mean a pet peeve would be ironically a cherished annoyance? Not denying it was popularized by Frank King as a comic strip.

Pet peeve: to "decimate" means to reduce by 10%, so stop using it like it's a synonym for "destroy." Just say "destroy." You don't sound smarter, you sound stupid.
