If a relationship can be ruined by simply having a conversation about your emotions, standards, or expectations, then it was never a relationship worth being in

@upshine3 For some people with ADHD and anxiety, stress can make it harder to organize thoughts and speak clearly in tense moments, which can affect confidence in expressing themselves.
English

ADHD + anxiety is being terrified of discussions, arguments and/or confrontation because we can't keep our thoughts straight enough to verbally express them in a convincing manner.
The moment we need to recall important details or facts our brains short circuit and even though we can
"see" the detail we am trying to recall it gets unintelligibly blurry.
So the end result is we have no confidence in our own thoughts and opinions all because they won't co out right.

@SIGMAPROFESSOR Manipulation works through vulnerability, not because people want to be deceived. And you can’t save everyone—focus on boundaries instead.
English

@eyojoel77 Heartbreak can change how open you feel afterward, but it doesn’t erase your ability to be soft or vulnerable again. It often just makes people more cautious about who they give that side of themselves to.
English

@firstladyships Setting boundaries often changes the dynamic in relationships, especially with people who relied on your lack of them. It shifts control back toward mutual respect and clarity.
English

@raixdaily Some experiences leave a lasting impression, even after forgiveness. Trust can heal, but it often doesn’t return to exactly how it was before.
English

@eyojoel77 A healthy relationship usually respects both closeness and space—being together should feel comfortable, not restrictive or overwhelming.
English

@Champagnediet1 Replying naturally is fine—real connection shouldn’t feel like a game.
English

@pallnandi Survival mode can look like normal functioning on the outside while internally someone is just getting through each day on limited energy.

Why emotionally unavailable people attract others so easily:
Inconsistency creates obsession. Hot and cold behavior keeps people emotionally hooked.
You fall in love with the version of them you created in your own mind.
Their rare moments of vulnerability feel special, so you mistake access for connection.
Emotionally unavailable people feel "deep" because anxiety is often confused with chemistry.
English

@Gabbrielxzn Communication only works when there’s also openness to understand each other—not just hearing words, but trying to see the other person’s perspective.
English

@Favwontmiss When someone has spent a long time feeling misunderstood, basic emotional safety can feel unfamiliar—even overwhelming at first.
English

@heavensbvnny A healthy relationship often involves acceptance, emotional support, and growing together while understanding each other’s past experiences and evolving selves.
English

@valawakened Some connections feel naturally easy from the start—conversation flows, silence feels comfortable, and being around them feels safe instead of draining.
English

@kush_147 A lot of problems grow when disrespect or crossed boundaries go unaddressed early instead of being handled clearly and calmly.
English

@Gabbrielxzn Not everyone will notice or celebrate your progress, and that’s okay. Learning to acknowledge your own growth is important too.
English

@raixdaily Don’t pause your life for uncertainty. Clarity, consistency, and mutual intention matter in real connections.
