@nksantucci @notriaN_mch @eugenio8a8 "ABC" is not taking up that much dev time. They KNOW about the issues. It's just not the instant fix that you make it out to be. You're a bad "programmer" acting in bad faith. You don't understand that the issues are being worked on, and finding a fix is not quick or easy.

@Deceive_AD @notriaN_mch @eugenio8a8 incorrect, They are bad players doing bad updates because they dont know what the issues are. instead of working towards a solution for" XYZ" They change ABC and cant even recognize XYZ as an issue the player base experiences.

@LateNightHalo Not that I'd mind seeing more of grounded combat, but we haven't seen truly fluid, momentum-based movement in a good multiplayer shooter since Titanfall 2 (2016 btw!).

@LateNightHalo Okay, but when's the last time we had a good Titanfall-like movement shooter? Titanfall 2. If Apex is a "movement shooter," I don't think it even scratches the surface of what people crave with TF. There's a big diff between twitchy & fast, and the movement fluidity of Titanfall.

@eugenio8a8 @CounterStrike Unnecessary (as with most updates, technically lol), but ultimately a good update. The community overreacted wayyy too hard (as usual). I think there's a greater distinction between A4 vs A1-S now, as well as the P2000 vs USP. Smoke spam and AWP wallbangs are more calculated now.

@eugenio8a8 @madtruthh Yep, the dev & the player are both necessary and separate roles, much like the engineer & pilot. The issues with CS2 are more complex to fix than people make it out to be, and development is harder than it seems. Not that the current pace is great, but it's understandable.

In fact, 99.999% of players who complain wouldn't know the first thing about fixing the issues. You act like programming is easy and that just because you KNOW about the issue means you can fix it.

@notriaN_mch @eugenio8a8 Sure, they've had updates that broke jumping, broken rag dolls, introduced FPS issues... I mean many of their rollout issues would be solved with a beta server/client, yet for some reason we still get updates which break core mechanics within the game.

@nksantucci @eugenio8a8 R8: Long time ago. AUG: All they changed was the price. PRO players didn't realize how strong it was before. Has nothing to do with skill level. XM: Idek what you're talking about. Kill reward? Deagle: You mean to the damage? $700 shotgun, 2-shot body shot kill? It was OP before.

@eugenio8a8 I disagree, Dunning-Kruger effect is real. All the past updates that broke the game are easily explained via this (R8, Aug, XM, Deagle patches) Devs are 2 bad to even realize anything is wrong while rest of community gets to deal with cheaters and horrible subtick garbage.

@hamboogaCS I think this will change the amount of smoke spam a lot in some situations. Think late round T-side postplants. You're just going to have less ammo at that point, and won't be able to spam as much at CTs retaking (e.g. inferno moto smoke, or B-CT smoke)

@Thorin Yeah, I think the AWP is the one area where the ammo change potentially affects the balance for the worse. A simple fix, if this is the case, is to give the AWP an extra mag or two though. I otherwise quite like the ammo change.

@Thorin Not that it needed fixing, but I think it's an interesting change to the dynamics of smoke spamming. Players will need to be more mindful about when and where to spam. Think late round T-side postplants. Ts can't just endlessly unload into smokes anymore (e.g. inferno moto or ct)

@ILOVEILLIQUIDS @_Anth0ny_W @Thorin It's not like it gets rid of spamming entirely. Spamming was just so easy to spam (lol). It now limits how much you can do it, which means you have to be more mindful about when you spam. Think about T-side postplants. Late in the round, you can't mindlessly spam smokes anymore.
