@DShyKnock It's budget. It has been repeatedly and dramatically cut over the last 3 years.

Maybe I'm missing something here but why can't NACL have a year long system similar to EMEA Masters? Why exactly do we need to take winter off especially when there is nothing else filling that void?

I cant stress enough how important this is to get right if you want NA to be competitive as a region and to stop having our developing talent leave for EU. This league does not offer enough yet. Riot needs to stop treating it as a side expense and take T2 seriously.

There's some foundational positives for sure. Big issues that still need fixing: -Late start sucks. Give a winter split or extend spring. -Summer split format is weird. We'll miss out on certain match ups. Not exciting. Just convoluted -Single T3 qual this year feels REALLY bad.
