Since the start of 2026 the hornets have been playing like a contender and the starting 5 is historically great. Moussa has been integral to that success. The idea that he's not a starting center is just rooted in bias of what a center "is supposed to look like".

Moussa is not a long term starting center right now. If he gets better then fine. He works well for us now because the Hornets are a young team trying to figure out winning. But I promise you unless the Hornets get some high-end talent elsewhere so that we can cheap out on center, Moussa is not going to be a starting center for a team that’s fight for a top 4 seed. It works now sure but I’m speaking in the sense of a contending team or a team aspiring to be contenders.
