@PlayerGaelic Total distance, sprint count and HSR are of no benefit when stats on game impact show little involvement in possessions, turn overs, breaks won and shots or blocks. But they do indicate effort just not impact

Are there many examples of data that are mathematically correct but strategically useless? I remain unconvinced by these two: Total distance covered - some players run less because they read the game better. Total number of sprints - if there’s no context, nobody knows why.
