@DVSA_HelpMe @DVSAgovuk so hairdressers and pubs can reopen on the 4th of July but driving tests still can’t resume?! Could this please be explained to me? I am genuinely confused by the contradiction on display here.

@DVSA_HelpMe wouldn’t it make more sense to just make face masks and gloves mandatory during testing? Taxis are allowed to operate after all.

@DVSAgovuk People need answers. Your lack of response is just going to contribute to the level of unemployment in this country. Find a solution - so many people are losing their jobs.

@DVSAgovuk could you please elaborate on what qualifies as a “key-worker” test? You have a list of options available online but they seem to be merely for show. How many tests are you carrying out on a daily basis? Due to the rural location of my workplace, I am unable to work.

@DVSA_HelpMe Hi, thank you for your reply. Shouldn’t all other options be removed from the online form? Better than giving false hope to people who are in desperate situations.

@Declandoyle_ We understand that this is disappointing but we only have a limited number of tests available. We need to make sure these are available to health and social care workers in the first instance where driving is a critical part of their job. Thanks
