We are pumped that legendary housing organiser @Simmoneahiaku will be hosting this session for us! Simmone has worked on air pollution, divestment and climate justice campaigns. She uses facilitated workshops to talk about climate change, health and colonialism at Wood & Water.

We’ve chosen the medicine bag as the totem for this work because it represents healing, requires resources and tools, and understands the causes of illness—namely, extractivism, colonialism, imperialism, and violence.

This political education series is designed for Black organisers and activists who are interested in dismantling capitalism but feel overwhelmed about the steps needed to create nourishing economic realities
