Mel Kiper has 12 SEC players in his latest mock draft, by far the most I've seen in any 2026 projection.
Also, it's the first I can recall where the SEC had more projected Day 1 picks than the Big Ten (9).
Worth monitoring as we get closer to the draft.

No point trading him for pennies when his value has never been lower. Let him develop this offseason and play in the preseason. If he plays well, his value bumps to a Day 2 pick. If he is just meh, you’re still getting a Day 3 pick. If another QB gets hurt, his value increases.

His average annual salary will be middle of the pack among current QBs. Honestly, that's probably appropriate given all the details (health, sample size, etc.). QBs cost $.
