To the extent this post (by @mdudas, who’s generally quite brilliant) might call into question Telegram’s commitment to @ton_blockchain it only makes sense to politely set the record straight: 1) All $TON sold by Telegram has four-year vesting. 2) The by far largest buyer of Telegram’s $TON was @tonstrat (NASDAQ: $TONX) which I happen to Chair – and this is a permanent capital vehicle whose main purpose is to accumulate, hold and stake TON – not a source or overhang of future selling supply. 3) Telegram’s net (!) TON holdings shouldn’t haven’t declined meaningfully from Dec24 to Dec25 - indeed, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find out that Telegram’s $TON holdings have even grown over this period - at least measured in $TON coins (not USD fiat). So in my humble opinion, the only paragraphs worth highlight from an otherwise poorly researched FT article, are: 1) Telegram said: “…accuracy is evidently less compelling than sensationalism” (this great line might well become a @durov classic). 2) “Durov was prioritising improving the Ton ecosystem and further incorporating the crypto into the Telegram platform in 2026”. This much is true!   Anyone questioning @durov’s or @telegram’s commitment to $TON is in for wake up call in 1H2026. Happy New Year! 🥳

His policies are beginning to make a real impact, as seen in the reduction of inflation and improved economic value for farmers. For example, a basket of tomatoes that was selling for ₦35,000 now goes for about ₦20,000. A full bag of rodo pepper that previously sold for ₦52,000 is now selling for around ₦25,000. These are clear indicators of easing food prices and better market conditions. President Tinubu has made credible progress in reducing inflation and strengthening the economy, especially for our farmers.
