The amount of paid time off Congress takes is unreal. Thousands of dedicated volunteers and professionals serve in our armed services, fire departments, police departments, EMS, Homeland Security, and other critical agencies that protect and serve our nation. Many of them make far less than members of Congress. Very few complain, but deep down, many of us find it hard to understand how so many politicians seem to take advantage of the very people who elected them. Too often, they forget about those voters and instead bend toward those who fund their careers. President Trump, like all presidents, has made his share of mistakes. While I support and respect whoever is elected—as well as the office of the presidency itself—I do appreciate that President Trump has chosen to put his duties as President and Commander-in-Chief first, often working through holidays. Congress should take note. Our country needs leaders who truly lead—people who support and believe in the citizens who elected them. They need to show more respect for the American people. My husband and I were on base this past Saturday, and we saw firsthand how many people were still working—flight lines active, warehouses open, people doing their jobs without pause. We were grateful to visit a local restaurant that matched our donation of lunches, which were then delivered to several organizations on base. We also heard that President Trump donated a significant amount of his own money to ensure that many of these hardworking individuals received good meals during the holiday—not just basic boxed lunches, but proper meals. That’s leadership. And choosing to miss his son’s wedding—that’s a real sacrifice. I saw media coverage where some reduced it to “like father, like son,” focusing on past personal matters instead of the bigger picture. Those narratives only show part of the story. The President has every right to be there for his son, yet he chose to prioritize his responsibilities to this country. That matters. Happy Memorial Day to all. And to everyone who selflessly works and volunteers to serve, support, and protect our nation and the freedoms we believe in—thank you. God bless the United States of America! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 🎉🎆🙌❤️🤍💙

Elon Musk is brilliant and his ideas and work impacts the future because of the thousands of people that work to build those ideas into reality and the investors that fund these projects. Point is yes one person can change the future as long as that person has the ability to motivate and lead people to design, build, test and execute the ideas.

They give you $2 million. You have 20 minutes to spend it or it disappears. You can’t buy cars, planes, yachts, or houses. No gold or diamonds either. What would you spend it on?

Please expand on your post. Always open to learn and understand. There are many people, organizations and groups that perceive rights different ways as I have as well done. I based my perception on the below: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed" Ratified in 1791, then further defined in 2008 in District of Columbia v. Heller that sstablished an individual's right to possess firearms for lawful purposes like self-defense at home. Then further defined in 2022 in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen which affirmed the right to carry firearms in public for self-defense

I learned something the hard way… Life doesn’t break you because it’s cruel. It tests you because somewhere deep inside, there is more strength than you’ve ever discovered. Fourteen years ago, I wasn’t sure I would ever wake up again. Multiple strokes. A coma. Five brain surgeries. And when I finally opened my eyes… life would never be the same. What people don’t always talk about isn’t just the physical pain. It’s the moments where you sit quietly and ask yourself: “Who am I now?” That’s where the real battle begins. But here’s what I’ve learned… When everything around you is stripped away, you are left with something powerful: •Your faith •Your humility •Your willingness to trust •And the courage to ask for help Not weakness… But strength. I didn’t walk this road alone. For over 30 years, I’ve been blessed with a husband who didn’t just say vows… He lives them. Through sickness. Through uncertainty. Through days where both of us carry pain as 100% disabled veterans. And yet—every day—he chooses love. He chooses me. He chooses faith. That’s what real strength looks like. Not perfection. Not having all the answers. But waking up… and choosing love, faith, and hope again. Even when it’s hard. Especially when it’s hard. Together, we learned something I wish everyone could understand sooner: 👉 You don’t have to be strong alone. 👉 You don’t have to carry everything yourself. 👉 And you don’t have to wait until you’re broken to seek God. Strength isn’t about never falling. It’s about knowing where to turn when you do. Today, our faith is what holds us steady. Sharing our story is what gives it purpose. If even one person reading this feels less alone… then every step of this journey has meaning. If this message speaks to you, walk with us, follow, and share the strength we’ve found. And if you feel called to support our journey, you can here: 👉 gofund.me/c7da2917f God bless you all.

gofund.me/c7da2917f Help a Disabled Air Force Veteran and Her Caregiver Husband Find Relief A Life of Service. A Battle at Home. A Humble Request for Help. My name is Delores. I am a 66-year-old disabled U.S. Air Force veteran, a proud naturalized American, and a woman who has spent her life trying to serve others with dignity, resilience, and faith. Today, I find myself in a position I never imagined—asking for help. Not for luxury. Not for comfort. But for relief, stability, and dignity in the life my husband and I are still fighting to hold together. My Journey I came to the United States from the Philippines in 1985 with very little—but with hope and determination. I overcame an abusive early marriage and chose to start again. In 1987, I answered the call to serve this country. For 10 years, I proudly served active duty in the United States Air Force. Eglin Air Force Base (Florida) Kunsan Air Base (Korea) RAF Lakenheath (United Kingdom) Mountain Home Air Force Base (Idaho) It was during my service that I met my husband—also a veteran—who has stood beside me ever since. Together, we built our life on faith, endurance, and love. The Turning Point Everything changed in 2013. While living overseas, I suffered a double hemorrhagic stroke, leaving me in a coma and declared 100% permanently and totally disabled. Since then, my health has been a constant uphill battle: Multiple additional strokes Several heart attacks Severe neuropathy Insulin-dependent diabetes Permanent double vision affecting balance Progressive dementia Five brain surgeries just to regain basic function adn awake from the coma Today, I am unable to work and depend almost entirely on my husband for daily care. My Husband: The Man Carrying Everything My husband is also a 100% disabled Air Force veteran. Yet despite his own condition, he works 10–11 hours a day, 5–6 days a week, commuting long distances—just to keep us afloat. And when he comes home, his second job begins: Lifting me in and out of bed and vehicles Managing medications and daily care Taking me to countless doctor visits Rushing me to the hospital (over 10 times in the past year alone) He does all of this without complaint. But I see the toll it takes on him. The exhaustion. The physical strain. The weight he carries alone. And that is why I am asking for help. What We Need We are asking for support in two very specific, practical ways: 1. Relief from Overwhelming Financial Burdens Any assistance toward these expenses would: Allow my husband to work fewer hours Preserve his health Give him time to care for me without breaking himself 2. A Wheelchair-Accessible Van ($45,000–$60,000) Right now, every trip is physically difficult and risky. A properly equipped van would: Allow me to remain safely in my wheelchair Eliminate the need for my husband to lift me Prevent injury to him Reduce emergency transport costs Restore a small piece of independence and dignity This isn’t just a vehicle. It’s safety. It’s relief. It’s the ability to breathe again. Transparency & Trust We are committed to full transparency: Donations can go directly to lenders or providers Full documentation and verification are available We welcome conversations, questions, or even in-person visits Why Your Help Matters If you choose to help us, your kindness will have an immediate and real impact: You will lighten the burden of a devoted caregiver You will restore dignity to a disabled veteran You will turn daily struggle into sustainable living You will help two people who served their country find peace in the years they have left ❤️ A Final Word This is not something I ever imagined doing. But there comes a moment in life when asking for help is no longer a weakness—it is an act of faith. I am not asking for charity. I am offering the opportunity to change a life—ours—in a meaningful and lasting way. With humble appreciation I appreciate your time and consideration.

🇺🇸 She honorably served our country. Now a disabled veteran her husband is carrying her—literally—every day. She’s battling severe neuropathy, insulin‑dependent diabetes, permanent double vision, progressive dementia, and has had five brain surgeries—and she can’t work. Her husband (also a 100% disabled Air Force veteran) works 10–11 hr days… then comes home to lift her, manage meds, and rush her to nonstop appointments/hospital trips. Recent updates show how real and urgent this is: heart attack, cardiac procedures, and fluid removed from around her heart. They need help with medical/living costs and a wheelchair‑accessible van ($45k–$60k) so getting care isn’t dangerous. If you’re reading this, thank you—truly. We thank God for every heart that stops here, prays, shares, or helps. 🙏❤️ Please help or repost: gofund.me/67521038b #Veterans #DisabledVeteran #SupportVeterans #Faith

Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. Yesterday Dee had an angioplasty that went well and this morning they did a pericardiocentesis to have sac of fluid next to her heart removed. All went well and she is recovering. If all is good tonight I can take her home tomorrow. Dee is a strong woman with a strong love of God and faith in prayer. Thank you to so many that do not kniw her to blindly offer prayer and we'll wishes, the power of prayer and seeing the truly awesome outpouring of concern and caring is very humbling and gives us strength in light of the world-always-ending media. Thank you for showing humanity and caring. God Bless each any every person. Please read Dee's story at gofund.me/2fa83dc4b
