Pine class have loved taking part in the @cashforkidsliv fundraising activities in school over the last two weeks. Making sweet cones, a cake sale and soaking the teachers @DeePointPrimary

After a fun few weeks of watching and waiting… our tiny caterpillars have transformed into butterflies and were finally ready to be released to carry on the life cycle🐛🦋 @DeePointPrimary

The fantastic four from Pine class took part in the New Age Kurling @Panathlon event. Smiles, cheers and super sportsmanship all afternoon 😃 Who doesn’t love a medal to celebrate?🏅 @DeePointPE @DeePointPrimary

We are looking at 2D shapes and sorting them based on how many sides they have. We spoke about a side being a straight edge from one corner to another. MR quickly spotted a circle has no corners so it only has 1 side @DeePointPrimary

In Topic, we have been learning about different people in our community that might help us. We matched up job titles to how we find them helpful @DeePointPrimary

We have been learning how to cast our screens onto the Interactive whiteboard. The children could share what they were using the iPads for in choosing time @DeePointPrimary

Pine class made some delicious flapjacks in our cooking lesson. We even altered the recipe to cater for some children with dairy allergies. They tasted delicious 😄

Our two reading superstars 📚🤩 MR and JD have both worked incredible hard to read everyday and were both rewarding with a golden coin to use at the vending machine @DeePointPrimary

In P.E we have been working on balances using our bodies. Today we challenged ourselves by using equipment to practice holding our balances safely🤸🏾‍♀️ @DeePointPE

In Maths, we have started our new topic of Money🪙 The children first looked at the different coins and began to sort them based on the their properties. They sorted them by size, shape and colour

Pine class are loving playing Numberblocks Bingo at the beginning of our Maths lessons. It helps us to wake up our Maths brains and improves our speed of number recognition. We even remembered to shout BINGO when we had matched all of our numbers. @DeePointPrimary

Our first trip of 2025 and it was a brilliant one! Pine class loved exploring on the various play equipment. We practiced taking turns, waiting and role playing games plus climbing trees safely🙂 The rain even stayed away to let us enjoy the fun all day! @DeePointPrimary

We have settled into our new classroom perfectly 😊 We are so proud of how well the children have followed instructions and accepted the new routines in our class. A class full of superstars and smiles ⭐️
