The Valko balcony scene has annoyed me to no end but not because there’s any issues with it but because people are trying to FIND issues with it. IT IS A NORMAL PARANORMAL ROMANCE PLOT? Fine if it isn’t for you but it isn’t a problem in and of itself? The guy comes and visits the girl at her place at night, they are already seeing each other romantically in some capacity, clearly their relationship is more playful and quick to physical comfort. Just because YOU are not attracted to him doesn’t mean MC in the literal Bond story for him is not because she clearly is! The premise is also playing on the idea of “don’t let a wolf into your home” because they’re “bad” but Valko is just a silly childish puppy, the irony is that this is a wolf you CAN let into your home. They are subverting the “big bad wolf” trope as he is a GOOD WOLF! If you can understand how often they subvert tropes for other characters, you can comprehend Valko. If you can wrap your head around other plot points we have had in the game, this should not be difficult for adult reading comprehension and playing on pre-existing fantastical themes. Twisting it into something disgusting and assuming the worst is extremely ironic when people do the same to your main and you get so angry about it. Also maybe WAIT until the content is out before being so loud and wrong? Or does context only matter when it is your favourite character?? The same bad actors are always obsessed with making other LI look bad whenever it is their moment. 🫩 Genuinely can’t believe you people are meant to be adults and this ridiculous, some of you literally at 3 decades old yet you’re acting like a dumbass for free.
