NEW: the popular Washington DC nightclub THRōW Social DC was SHUT DOWN overnight after a multi-law enforcement agency operation, with several fights breaking out beforehand. DC Police were initially on scene outside of the nightclub at 1400 block of Okie Street NE when they observed a fight break out. (~1:30am) At that point, a male— identified as 37 year-old Tyrone Williams of Suitland, Maryland— stabbed the victim in front of police officers and assaulted another person. Williams was then taken into custody by DC Police on scene and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) and Simple Assault. Moments later, Washington DC’s ABCA (Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration) shut down the event going on at the nightclub.
