We are officially live.
Today, we are proud to announce the launch of Deep33 Ventures, emerging from stealth, a $150 million inaugural fund dedicated to Deep Tech and critical infrastructure .
Our Thesis:
The global AI investment cycle is accelerating, but it is facing critical bottlenecks in the physical world. Energy, compute, and labor are the constraints that define the next decade .
As our Co-Founder Lior Prosor (@LiorProsor) puts it: "The AI Supercycle cannot reach its potential without a radical reimagining of our physical foundations."
That is why Deep33 was built. We are backing the "hard" systems: energy, quantum, AI Infra and robotics, that sustain a modern sovereign state.
The Team:
Led by Lior Prosor and Michael Broukhim (@broukhim), and joined by Lior Susan (Founder of Eclipse Ventures) as Chairman, we are bridging the gap between Israeli engineering and U.S. national resilience .
We operate on an "Expert-First" model, with vertical leads drawn from the highest echelons of tech ecosystem and national security agencies.
Quantum Vertical: Led by Col. (Res.) Joab Rosenberg (@JoabRosenberg), former senior official in IDF Intelligence and commander of the elite Talpiot program, and quantum physicist from the Weizmann Institute.
Energy Vertical: Led by Ori Amsalem (@Ori_Amsalem5) , former technology investor at Arkin Capital and Ernst & Young, with extensive background in Deep Tech and Energy, and experience guiding significant energy deals in Israel and globally.
AI Infrastructure: Led by Maj. (Res.) Yael Barsheshet (@yaelbarsheshet), with a decade of technical leadership positions in IDF Intelligence, product leadership at an AI startup, and 5 years leading early-stage AI Infrastructure and Cybersecurity investments.
Government Relations & Strategy (Venture Partner): Yarden Golan (@Golan_yarden), until recently Chief of Staff to Ron Dermer (during his tenure as Israel’s Minister of Strategic Affairs and Israeli Ambassador to the US), with rich experience working with governments worldwide and leading market companies.
Autonomous Systems Advisor: Elram Goren, who served in significant roles in IDF Intelligence. Goren is a co-founder and former CEO of Fabric, which raised over $300 million and built an autonomous robotics platform.
To the founders building the impossible: We are open for business in Tel Aviv, New York, and Los Angeles .
Let’s build the future.
