Traditional PG’s aren’t out the window, we’re just being forced to watch a bunch of —what would normally be—shooting guards and small forwards dominating the ball now, being labeled as “point” guards. In no other era would Shai, Luka, nor Cade be point guards But analytics got owners and team presidents in such a chokehold that many of the coaches—who would probably prefer a 6’0-6’3 true floor general—are forced to squeeze some athletic dude who can kinda handle ball into a position normally reserved for a smaller man
