what made Magic so special to me was that it was inspired by history and culture while being forward-thinking and innovative, with some of the world's best fantasy art. all of that is gone now. it's just Funko Pops you can play a game with. it's an embarrassment to its own legacy

I really hate how every Magic youtube video these days has a long segment where the person tells the audience ‘they won’t be saying negative things about UB this video’ or how ‘they won’t yuck people’s yums’. It’s okay to not like UB. I’m quitting Magic because of it. It sucks!
