I agree!! Let me use myself as a case study. Personally, I don’t stay consistent with things just because they’re “good” in theory. I need to see a clear return on my effort. From how I work and approach tasks, I’m driven by results, feedback, and systems that actually show progress. When I put time into something, I expect to see what I’m getting back, not just be told it matters. That’s where sustainability often misses it for me; it feels like extra effort with no visible reward or immediate impact. I’m also not motivated by guilt or pressure. I respond better to structured systems where my actions lead to something measurable or beneficial. From my interest in things like crypto and performance-based environments, I already understand that people act where there’s incentive and upside. So when climate actions feel like sacrifice, more cost, more effort, and nothing in return, it doesn’t align with how I naturally operate. If sustainability felt useful, visible, and rewarding, I’d be far more likely to engage with it consistently, and I know most people would too. What’s your take on this ??
