After looking closer at @MeteoraAG's DLMM vaults, I gathered all my findings in this guide: Hitchhiker's Guide to Meteora DLMM Vaults. ☄️ Let’s take a look!

Another gem: Hyperliquid is technically decentralized, but it has a small number of validators. The Hyperliquid site lists 30, which pales in comparison to other big blockchains. Ethereum is the gold standard with about 900,000 validators. Cardano has nearly 3,000, and Solana has over 700, to give a few more examples. finance.yahoo.com/markets/crypto…

The Motley Fool Stock Advisor analyst team just identified what they believe are the 10 best stocks for investors to buy now… and Hyperliquid wasn’t one of them. The 10 stocks that made the cut could produce monster returns in the coming years. - Lyle Daly, positions in Cardano, Ethereum, Solana, and USDC

Would have to disagree. For protocols that manage risk, buybacks are extractive. Projects like USDAI, Maple, and most Perp DEXs underwrite risk via pool-based designs. Those instruments (sUSDAI, syrupUSDC, JLP) are mechanically both equity and collateral, similar to a reinsurance sidecar. They all reprice on the protocol’s operational efficiency and absorb losses represented in NAV. In most cases, fees to buybacks come at the cost of incentivizing underwriters.

@DougieDeLuca Agreed, every protocol requires its own framework. But disclosure doesn't fix mispricing if the framing is wrong. For example, the market views Perp DEX LPs as simple yield instruments when they're mechanically closer to equity.

below remains my pov on the path forward for tokens. market mandated transparency by rejecting those who refuse it while still allowing for design freedoms. let the market express conviction around where value exists and where it doesn't.

Looking for a new service that lets you pay for hotels and flights with crypto Was using Flyflat and Entravel but the former raised their subscription to an untenable amount, and the latter no longer seems to accept crypto

just crossed 500 uploads on rss feeds and gotta say, "it's looking good, bruv" we've recorded and posted videos + gone live during all kinds of phases - peak hype, absolute lows, and even while we were still figuring things out ourselves behind the nonchalance, there’s a lot you don’t see - jumping from one rabbit hole to the other during the research phase, the narrowing down process of what to talk about and what to skip, the double-checking part, the bg song picking, the pre/post announcements, the trailers, the short clips that follow - it's a whole world in itself through it all, we've had some decent fun and tried our best keeping you informed about everything happening in our mad industry 500 uploads, damn. that's mad consistency. always in awe of what we're doing at blocmates

A couple thoughts: - The mass of data is negligible. The difference in weight from loading a HDD or SSD is less than the weight of the actual drive. - If dark matter is undistilled information, wouldn't it simply be transformed, rather than swell the system, when it gets ported to physical drives? - "Breaking reality" seems more philosophical than anything, but if I were to relate it to something it makes me think of when AI and robotics simultaneously peak in capabilities. That's the closest to "playing god" that humans can achieve. - An adjacent idea that represents data being an additional state of matter is Digital Matter Theory (DMT): "Digital Matter Theory proposes that it is possible to create a form of digital substance by leveraging the inherent patterns present in data." Basically, if we can capture specific patterns in data, we can derive value (since value = scarcity). digital-matter-theory.gitbook.io/digital-matter… Ultimately, I think at some point in the development of technology things may be unable to be explained, whether its because of it being a relatively new phenomena, or divinity.

I fell down one of the wildest rabbit holes of my life over the weekend and I've wanted to tweet about it so badly. I still can't really. bc I have shit to do. priorities and all that, ya know. but...it stemmed from listening to a 3 hour podcast with a like an astrophysicist, and a couple other scientists. they were all very credible, it was very dry nerd talk. very much scientists and not speakers or entertainers. like it was one of those YouTube videos where the producers relied way too heavily on the power of the subject matter/information and ended up with a dry, monotone conversation that nobody could ever stick with for 3 hours. lol. anyway the rabbit hole executive summary is essentially this: “we believe that data has mass. this can be illustrated through math, tho we still lack instruments sensitive enough to truly measure it. we then believe that the hidden state of matter, the original substance of all things, is pure, raw, unprocessed data. and we are approaching critical mass .” example: if you take a hard drive and weight it empty. then fill it with a shit ton of data. max it out. then weigh it again. it will be heavier. (theoretically). on that premise - what if Information is *the* hidden additional state of matter? what if it's *the* original state of matter from which all others derive? what if, then, the thing we call dark matter is just undistilled information. Unprocessed data. The stuff that transforms into everything we know and perceive. *this is what fucked me UP and completely sent me for hours: one of the scientists started talking about some other scientist who had made the claim that everything we are experiencing right now (like all the weird glitches in reality people talk about. basically just all the weird shit we are all feeling even if not talking about it, you know?) Is due to the fact that we are approaching **critical mass through synthetic data generation from the ai boom** and if we continue building data centers and swelling reality with more and more dark matter (data), basically everything goes “boom”. and he presented the math and timeline with projected point at which we basically break reality and cause a system-wide crash. 🤯🫠 I know. a wild ass idea. and remember this was all just in conversation, nerds talking nerd shit. not formal claims or anything. but the amount of math that supported the theory was….enough to give me pause. ok that’s all I got for ya. just a little seed. go have fun with it. show your ai or something. ;) 🫶
