HyperCore will support outcome trading (HIP-4). Outcomes are fully collateralized contracts that settle within a fixed range. They are a general-purpose primitive that are useful for applications such as prediction markets and bounded options-like instruments. There has been extensive user demand in both of these areas, and builders will likely think of novel applications as well. Outcomes bring non-linearity, dated contracts, and an alternative form of derivative trading that does not involve leverage or liquidations. The outcome primitive expands the expressivity of HyperCore, while composing with other primitives such as portfolio margin and the HyperEVM. Outcomes are a work in progress and currently only being tested on testnet. Canonical markets based on objective settlement sources will be deployed once technical development is complete. Canonical markets will be denominated in USDH. Pending user feedback, the infrastructure will be extended to permissionless deployment.

open request for a hyperliquid public good: over the weekend I ran into a pretty disturbing design flaw in HL builder codes. I was trying to add a subaccount to @tread_fi, so that my MM bots don’t conflict with my directional trades on @pear_protocol, when this error popped up I asked @davidyjeong about it and he informed me that he was told by @xulian_hl that users can only have 10 builder code approvals and the best solution is for them to use a new account I find this quite shocking tbh because there is no warning, nor anywhere you can check your builder approvals, until you hit the limit. I try to use every builder app to provide feedback, but now I’ve been penalised for it by having my main wallet with my staking discount and most of my volume seemingly bricked forever in theory, this could be remedied by setting builder fee approvals on apps I don’t use anymore to 0%, but there’s only one problem: there is no way to do this it seems like the onus is on individual builders to expose an endpoint for users to set their builder fee approval for that app to 0, but there is no incentive to do this because 1) this would allow users to use the app with 0 builder fees, unless the app implements handling to block these users until they approve the max builder fee again (more dev work) 2) in implementing this, the builder is expending eng resources with the only result being losing a user and revenue moreover, since there’s no easy way for a user to check their current builder approvals, they might not even know which builder to ask even if there was, it’s very bad UX to expect users to constantly swap builders in and out and it’s not unreasonable to expect that users could use more than 10 builder apps regularly I hope I’m misunderstanding the situation, but I can see this becoming a very big issue for many users in the future assuming that HL don’t lift this cap or don’t implement an interface to remove builder approvals themselves, we need someone to provide this as a public good and I can’t offer any reward besides HL ethos points tagging some based devs who might be interested @xsficherax @0xLoris @skewga_hyper, as required

Unpopular opinion: HL will trade at $12 before $40 We reached peak crypto exceptionalism & liquidity in ‘25 Whilst hip-3 markets have grown, this is still crypto native liquidity driven; which continues to wane. HL isn’t retail fee competitive & is driven by non-kyc interest.
