Patriot Day - 9/11/24 Thank you to Defiance Fire Department Captain Steve Johnson for his service and dedication and participation in today’s remembrance of 9/11/01, led by Student Council president Dylan Johnson and National Honor Society president Kendall Nolan.

50 years ago I wore that same blue outfit and celebrated graduating from an unbelievable high school. Today it was full circle as I got to talk to the people who are taking the same walk I did. Life is a team sport & we r all part of the same special team.

Today was a special day for The Class of 2024, as they welcomed home 1974 alumni, head coach Greg Kampe. 50 years later, his love for Defiance HS still can be felt and his message was inspiring! Thank you @KampeOU Once a Bulldog, Always a Bulldog!

With over 160 groups competing this week, Defiance is taking 2 of the 16 spots in tonight’s national finals!

CONGRATULATIONS DEFIANCE HS SENIOR DECA members Kendall Liffick, Josslyn Jerger, Christian Conley, Adrienne Frey, and Cieara Davis. They all have qualified for the National finals in Los Angeles today, with their International Business Plans.

Freshman Ava Hesselschwardt - the 1st female in the history of Defiance HS to qualify as an individual for the state golf tournament. Ava will be competing Friday and Saturday in the girls D1 state tournament at Ohio State. Congratulations Ava and best of luck!
