Myanmar soldiers are surrendering to the Bangladeshi soldiers by laying down their arms. A total of more than 66 Burmese soldiers have surrendered to Border Guard Bangladesh BGB. This is the largest surrender of foreign troops on Bangladesh since independence.

🇧🇩 Another tragic loss during IPFT training. Lt Col Aqib Javed, PSC, CO of 19 BIR, collapsed after a 1.6 km run during the 1st Half-Yearly IPFT at Savar Cantonment and was later declared dead at hospital. He served with dedication, and patriotism throughout his career in BGB.

Another life lost during training. After completing a 3.2 km IPFT, Lance Corporal Israel Hossain collapsed in his barracks. He was rushed to CMH, taken to the ICU, and later declared dead. He was 41 years old at the time of his death.
