For years, I have been working on a documentary project about the history of children's birthdays, and I am again putting out a call to anyone willing to share photos and videos from their childhood birthday for us to possibly use in the film. More details below!

This is the biggest project (in terms of production, not runtime) that we've done yet, and we are grateful to anyone that will consider helping us in our search for more birthday media. Thank you and take care!

I first did a call for birthday media a few years ago. I initially envisioned this as a short video, but the submissions were some of the most beautiful, touching, funny, and human artifacts I had ever seen, and I knew it had to be something more to do this justice.
