Spoiler free review of Epic 7 in 2025: Context: I’ve been playing this game almost non stop every waking hour for the past 4 days, bought a single $30 pack (L morals), no account managers. Pros: I can’t stop. Cons: I can’t stop. I went from lv1 to lv 47, watched almost every newbie guide by Tristan Wulf and Deity (excellent e7 CCs I couldn’t recommend more), full auto W13 on day 3, got my guild to almost lv 6 with 2 sister guilds, and made a new community of e7 newbies and veterans in my discord. Above all, this game rekindled my enjoyment for old school gachas again like back when I played summoners war/dragalia lost/counterside/artery gear. The learning curve is steep, and if you never played any gachas outside of hoyo/wuwa I’m pretty sure you will get filtered. That being said, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better new player experience in any gachas. There is currently an event which can give you “infinite stamina” so you could literally power level all in 24/7 if you want to, on top of the 200+ stamina potions I’ve gotten since day1 (I still have 120 left as of today, each potion is 80 stamina) I’m aware that this is the honeymoon period and when I wanna grind RTA/GW things will be ugly, but I feel that’s also the beauty of it. If a honeymoon of any game can bring me enjoyment, I won’t be sad that it’s over but glad that it happened. Looking forward to giving it a thorough breakdown once I’m done with 3.2. I’m sorry zzz wuwa genshin, yall will need to wait for a while.
