Enterprise tech buying decisions in 2026 feel a bit like a roulette bet. Lot of action, a lot of noise, but sometimes challenging to be confident in outcomes. During NYC Tech Week, we’re gathering a room of operators, founders, and tech buyers to talk about what’s actually working—across AI, data, cybersecurity, and enterprise infrastructure. Of course, to be followed by a happy hour and networking. Not theory. What teams are deploying right now. We’ll get into: 💡Where AI is delivering real ROI (and where it’s not) 💡How buyers can better evaluate new vendors in a crowded market 💡What’s fundamentally changing in enterprise tech stacks If you’re making build vs. buy calls, this is a high-signal conversation to be in with folks from Distyl, Cequence Security, Singulr AI, Tetrate, DTC and our friends at NVIDIA. Save your spot → del.ly/6010B8D02G

The human factor is involved in ~90% of cyber breaches. The cloud is where most critical infrastructure lives. DTC's Barrel Kfir writes that these two realities are driving the next wave of Israeli cyber innovation. 🧍Human Security Startups like Cymphony, Jazz, ORION Security, and Bold Security are moving away from fragmented tools toward unified platforms — connecting identity permissions, behavioral anomalies, and real-time employee coaching in one system. ☁️ Cloud Security Native, Aryon Security, Blast Security, and Act are helping organizations get cloud-native security right at the configuration stage — before vulnerabilities are introduced, not after. The most durable cyber companies of this decade will be built on solving these two problems. The foundation is being laid right now. At Dell Tech World, the focus is clear: innovation drives progress by solving real-world challenges. This year, companies from our portfolio including Druva, Halcyon, MavenAGI, MaxIQ, MinIO, Mirantis, OpenObserve, and Singulr AI are bringing that idea to life, with sessions focused on the critical issues founders are tackling right now: ➡️ Cybersecurity and resilience: Learn to protect your data from PC to cloud and build strategies for high-stakes environments where downtime isn’t an option. ➡️ AI readiness: Discover how to secure your AI infrastructure, govern AI use, and confidently move your AI projects from MVP to production. ➡️ Observability and efficiency: Explore new approaches to streamline your tools, lower costs, and give your teams clear visibility across modern environments. ➡️ Customer and revenue growth: Find out how AI is transforming personalization, post-sale growth, and scalable usage-based business models. What stands out is how these conversations move beyond the hype to help the enterprise build a more resilient, secure, and efficient foundation for your startup's growth. If you’re at Dell Tech World this week, connect with these teams to see how they’re turning complex technology challenges into clear business outcomes. Celebrating the team LayerX Security! Just a few short years ago, Or Eshed and David Vaisbrud brought at team together to secure the interface where most enterprise work gets done: the browser. They had the "techQ" to fully understand the concept of last mile security and the EQ to know that people are going to work where they're most comfortable and familiar. Akamai Technologies has just validated the team's tech and their approach by announcing its intent to acquire the company. We couldn't be happier for Or, David, and the team. Excited to see them work at scale with Akamai! delltechnologiescapital.com/resources/laye…

Emails, health records, financial documents — consumers seem to have no problem giving LLMs access to their personal data. Enterprises aren’t as carefree about their proprietary information. Safe enablement is now the biggest blocker to AI adoption. 🤔 The challenge: Securely connecting AI agents to the data that sits in GitHub, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Confluence, and other repositories. 💡 The answer: When AI agents have their own personas and scoped permissions, problems like hallucinations and prompt injections are far less likely to occur. Listen to @Cequenceai CTO and co-founder Shreyans Mehta and Sean Martin of ITSP Magazine go deeper into why the consumer AI model doesn’t work in the enterprise and why AI security demands more than just identity protections. del.ly/6017BBsbId

Pricing models are being upended across the enterprise. Now, they're less about straight monetization potential and more about getting creative to drive adoption and growth. So said DTC's Elana Lian in conversation with Layla Ilchi for @MorningBrew's Revenue Brew. For founders, this shift is a game-changer. It’s about aligning costs with the impact you’re delivering, lowering barriers to entry for (sometimes hesitant) customers, and driving adoption in ways that traditional seat-based models couldn't support. The logistics industry is very communication-heavy. Between the trucking company, brokers, forwarders, and other partners involved in shipments, there are sometimes hundreds of emails that must be monitored for a single shipment. For operators, their inbox is the source of most of their frustration. For @TryAugie, it’s the secret to powering AI agents that make shipping faster, easier, and cheaper. “In order to do the second or third order optimizations and improvements, you have to get the data,” Augment CEO Harish Abbott said on a recent episode of the @LegendsNLeaders podcast. “But you can’t have access to data unless you are in the thick of things.” More from Harish on why he thinks the logistics industry is a $10 trillion industry vastly in need of an AI overhaul: del.ly/6016BBbP2O

It’s Monday, and it’s time for a DTC Quick Take — though there was nothing quick about the @Akka_io_ journey. For 20 years, Akka was unknowingly waiting for its breakout moment: the AI revolution. Now the same principles that made Akka a leader in distributed systems—scalability, fault tolerance, and real-time processing—are critical for building reliable AI platforms. We talked to CEO Tyler Jewell about why AI is Akka’s time. A few snapshots below: 🚀 The importance of the ‘Series A’ mentality: “Not only are we this reliable AI platform but we also have to be a beacon for how you use AI to run a business,” said Tyler. “We’re 20 years old, but you can’t let that 20-year history hold you back.” 💡 Why impressive demos fall flat: “Many of these AI platforms are young technologies. They often demo really well, but companies quickly find out that getting and keeping the systems in production is complex and expensive,” said Tyler. 🎯 The advantage of real-world results: “When companies experience those pains, we come in and do everything they do with none of the pain, and have a 20-year track record that proves it,” Tyler said. “We can put outcomes in writing, to the point where there are severe financial penalties for us if we don't deliver.” Lots more insights in the full article: del.ly/6013BBbzVD

Most startups have a small window of opportunity to best rivals and win over early customers. That is, unless you’re @Akka_io_. ⏱️ After over 15 years, the AI revolution is revealing the true value of Akka’s technology. ⚙️ The principles that made it a leader in distributed computing architecture are now critical for building reliable AI platforms: Scalability, fault tolerance, and real-time processing. 🤝 And unlike the surge of new AI platforms just hitting the market, Akka can confidently promise results: “We can put outcomes in writing, to the point where there are severe financial penalties for us if we don't deliver,” said CEO Tyler Jewell. Check out the full post for more from Tyler on the pivot to AI, being a beacon for other companies, and why now is Akka’s time to shine. del.ly/6012BB31pp
