Last week, institutions quietly put $858 million into crypto. They didn't tweet about it. They didn't post charts. They just... bought. Over $700 million of that went straight into Bitcoin funds from names like BlackRock and 21Shares. This wasn't a one-off. It was the fifth consecutive week of inflows, and the strongest weekly total since late April. Year-to-date, Bitcoin funds have now absorbed $4.9 billion in institutional capital. Let that sink in. So where does Bitcoin stand right now? BTC is hovering at $81,000 which is just below one of the most watched levels in crypto: the 200-day moving average at $82,000. Think of this line as the market's long-term mood indicator. Above it = long-term bullish. Below it = still recovering. Bitcoin has tested this level twice in the last week without breaking through. But crucially, it hasn't fallen away either. Bulls are pausing, not retreating. Analysts at Marex put it cleanly - A daily close above $82,000 with steady spot demand is the clean next step. Without it, expect choppy movement between $79,000 and $82,000 while macro sets the tone. Immediate support sits at $80,400. Below that, the demand zone is $78,200–$78,600. Meanwhile, ETH's Bollinger Bands are unusually tight which is historically a warning sign that a large move is coming, in either direction. The institutions have placed their bets.
