@Tarubyparadox @OtakuEspiritu I had someone be mad about it not too long ago. Admittedly i haven't seen it as much in recent years as i saw it in the early 2010s. Also note we're here on the western side. There'll definitely be differences between the west and japan no need to act like they're the same.

@DemDenisKS @OtakuEspiritu You cannot say 'many' when you cannot name a single old Lolicon or the source of where you got your idea for 'many' in the first place (book, article, etc.). It's really annoying when westerners like you make up nonsense and cannot back it up; stop spreading misinformation.

I always find this image funny because every time I post it, the one's in the red are the ones many people will say are not a Loli. And then they goal post moves on what a loli is to push them out. I find western fans always have a very different view on what a loli is to Japan, which I would go based on what Japan says over westerns claiming to be lolicon's, yet can't come up with a solid meaning.

@Tarubyparadox @OtakuEspiritu I said many old lolicons. Not all. It's just that whenever i get to know a lolicon that was around during the lolicon boom they're really mad about the moe boom. There's always the chance that is simply happens to be a coincidence though. Which is why i didn't say most nor all.

Azuma Hideo criticised the K-On anime, but that's because he's been always harsh on anime and always preferred the original manga (he even attended Moe maid cafes without letting the staff know who he is).

@BrainSilly @MinecraftMeme16 I'll admit that the comment is overstated. The warden is very well designed for a survival horror game. But not as much so for an open world sandbox game. Let me be creative in how i deal with that thing don't make sure that there's only one intended solution.

@DemDenisKS @MinecraftMeme16 The warden's ai is most likely inspired by the xenomorph from Alien: Isolation. Imo the warden is probably some of the best game design in Minecraft. My biggest issue with it is that it almost feels TOO forgiving. If you sneak away, it stays in one area and eventually despawns.

I just find it stupid that the smell range is bigger than the hearing radius despite the thing already having a soft pathfinding towards players in a 50m^3 radius, when hearing is the supposed gimmick.

@RipFamWinkle @OtakuEspiritu What? An idol is a person/being of worship or excessive adoration. A lolicon idol is a character that was worshipped withing the lolicon space not a j-pop idol. And it doesn't say "lolicon idol boom" but "lolicon idol" and "relevant in the lolicon boom"

@RipFamWinkle @OtakuEspiritu Well broader might not be the right term. But many modern characters would fall into the loli category back then due to modern styles simply being more childlike, cute, petite as a base.

@RipFamWinkle @OtakuEspiritu What I'm pointing out here is that the original meaning especially during the 90 was significantly broader than it is today because back then the artstyle had sharper faces and smaller eyes, it was generally more realistic. The modern style was mostly caused by the lolicon boom

@MinecraftMeme16 And don't get me wrong i get why they do that. But the whole game is designed this way. They try really hard to create a "safe" forced playstyle despite the game being a sandbox. Every feature being it's own thing makes that easier but takes aways from complexity and creativity

@MinecraftMeme16 As much as i love minecraft. The devs have genuinely 0 idea of game design. Let's take the warden as an example. An enemy who's gimmick is that he can't see you, instead it reacts to sound. That gimmick is entirely lost because of the smell and enrage feature overwriting it.
