@EarlTrapo Not even agitating for Mateus but the argument for him is that he seems to be similar to Bischof, Neves and Anderson. They're plug and play, can all perform different midfield tasks to a very high level. Would have been a great fit for any midfield option at Utd.

@EarlTrapo PL average of about 40 passes per game ain't volume, peep Tielemans around the same age in the Ligue 1. Only thing is that he's a better long range passer and a set piece specialist. They can say he's good but they shouldn't tell us he's some guy that suppresses teams with passes

Sanusi Mansur (🇳🇬 Beyond Limits) The Beyond Limits boys have already been on my list for a long time, I did watch them a lot and I know what quality they have. Sanusi Mansur stands out, with a few others. He is a really intelligent midfielder who stands out with anticipation and ball carrying. He wins the balls easily and keeps them until options become available. He uses both feet well. He can sometimes improve his passing strength.

People think I just moan for the sake of moaning when it comes to Man Utd’s transfer dealings I can assure you it’s far from the case All I’ve ever asked for was a player who can set tempo + add more technical security to United’s settled possession + probing when facing more stubborn teams. Someone who shifts a block, changes gears in a team My issue with United’s midfield targets was I felt constently try to sign midfielders who can play in Super Sunday games (away to the Emirates, at home to Man City, etc.) Sure, those are needed, but it’s the other games & match styles that decide how high you truly finish/how much you really challenge Bring @tielemans

I don't think that type of profile is easy to buy, nobody will sell the established ones to you they just fall into your laps if you're lucky. Think a midfielder that can carry the ball very well would have been a better addition. Guy na gimmick like dem Enzo and Tonali. Cogs.
