Their gift of $1.99 million allowed us to replace the outfield wall and install PIVOT no-infill turf at Brown-Stroud field, making @NSUDemonsBSB the first NCAA recipient of this high-tech material and classifying Brown-Stroud Field as the first PIVOT turf of its kind in the USA.

NSU Baseball has secured the program’s first 30+ win season since 2019, a level of success that wouldn’t have been possible without the generous and unwavering support of the Thornton family.
