There are 10 million pensioners:- many of which voted Labour. Reeves has almost guaranteed the loss of the pensioner vote at the next general election, and possibly sending Labour into extinction. A lesson not learnt from the attempted abolition of the Winter Fuel allowance.

Even London. How it was. Carnaby Street in the 60s, the Tower of London overlooking Old Father Thames, the pageantry of our late Queen Elizabeth's platinum jubilee. I loved the villages, the thatched cottages, the people wishing you a good morning, the churches, the pubs with roaring fires and roast dinners. I loved the seaside, fish and chips, children excited at having donkey rides, paddling in icy water and eating candyfloss. I loved this country, its people, its history, its traditions, its buildings, its landscape, its food, its sense of humour, how polite we all are. I loved the green rolling hills, the gardens and the scent of an English tea rose on a summer day. I loved this country. Once. Before politicians decided they knew best. Before they decided to ruin it. Before they decided to overcrowd us and try to take our culture away to virtue signal to the world. Before they tried to build all over our green and pleasant land. We weren't asked. Or, if we were, we were ignored. I loved this country. Once. 😢
