@MarkBarwood @AllWalesSport They seem to go off figures and Data and not at grassroots clubs supporting and watching these boys. Academies, colleges and schools now dictate to Clubs over our players.

@simonrug Was no care for livelihoods of the players from the Celtic Warriors back in 2005. All players have agents now to get them a place within rugby. Competition for shirts are needed, trials are needed, change is needed. We cannot continue to watch Welsh rugby fail

Lots of very good points made already about why the WRU plan is deeply flawed.
My own immediate thoughts are with those people currently employed by our four pro clubs. This is people’s livelihoods we are talking about and it must be a hugely worrying time.

@roberts_dano @caerau10 @lockestock8 They want everyone and give nothing back to the clubs that built these boys from grassroots. Training for months on end with most of these boys only playing a half then taken off the pitch on matchdays. If they played every week I'd understand the 60 players to cut it down to 30

Yeah - Interesting read. Do WRU clubs even care what happens under their Union anymore - They were told not required to run pro rugby as on only Cardiff & Llanelli and a few business people can run pro rugby - How is that going ?

I also think some so called "super clubs" out of Newport, Cardiff & Llanelli just happy as long as their team is protected.

When are the WRU going to realise that the structure we have isn't working!? We are the laughing stock of the rugby world atm and still we dont do anything about it. Cut 2 regions lets get rugby back thriving and allow all academy boys to play rugby for their clubs #shameful
