@Bricktop_NAFO Bro murdered a whole squad while holding a Gatorade in the left hand 😭

@ajpjmxp @Evankuoj @real_hotaru Shark fins are typically harvested from large pelagic sharks which are mostly endangered. You can get shark meat from small benthic sharks that are not threatened, but these sharks have very small fins

@dus10chase @GuGi263 The hatchling was a Chinese pond turtle, and they showed a few other species of turtle later on including yellow pond turtle and golden thread turtle

@scumfutch @Noontide108 Toxin and heavy metals buildup is not a problem when the animals are farmed, as you have control over what you feed the animals. Many food animals are predators and carnivores, including many fishes, squid, mantis shrimp, carnivores snails like Babylonia, alligator, bullfrog etc
English

@Noontide108 Dogs and cats are poor food animals for more than just that, predators and carnivores generally accrue any toxins or heavy metals in an ecosystem morals aside they’re an inadvisable source of food
English

@Noontide108 @Wolfstarzan @scumfutch That makes zero sense. The accrue of toxins is only a problem when you have no control over what the animals eat, aka when they come from the wild.
For example, aquacultured puffer fish are non-toxic and safe to eat because of the diet is free of toxins
English

@Wolfstarzan @scumfutch we don't have to feed them, the ocean is a diffuse food web. tuna have issues with mercury but they're viable cause we don't front the feeding cost
English

@hungeecheeter @Laoguangecty That’s good. Need to tell these artists to stop whining about ai
English

@hungeecheeter @Laoguangecty You can say the same thing to ai. “You posted your drawings online it’s inevitable that people will feed it to ai”
English

@Laoguangecty Boy you pushed it online is inevitable that other people draw it.
English

@StellaSin_ @VitoComedy He didn’t take more than his share though. That’s only valid if he ate more than half of the jar. He just finishes he’s share faster than her, that’s all.

Women think men eat more food because SOCIETY

i@espantabruiixes
Lo siento pero voy a ser esa woke: que los hombres siempre cojan más comida o más de todo, tiene mucho que ver con cómo les enseñan a ser los dueños de los espacios y a nosotras a echarnos a un lado, no molestar y pensar en los demás
English

@impostersyndrum @ShadowyZephyr Age of consent protects the victim themselves, whereas preferences toward animals are based on the onlooker's feelings, not the animals
English

@ShadowyZephyr Some cultures also draw the line for age of consent below 10 years old. By this logic, you cannot call that barbaric or immoral.
English

people posting this as a roast as if they aren't just proving PETA's point, that everyone draws the line in a different place, with no logic behind it.
you can do this but then don't turn around and call cultures barbaric for eating cats and dogs (which many people do)!

I draw the line right here. Thanks for asking PETA

@Looseynut @noinconsistency If algae didn’t produce oxygen for everyone to breathe none of this will work so we really should include the algae am I right
English

@Dendro_Gaster @noinconsistency And fucking yet they are not the ones putting political and financial support into fucking NASA AN AMERICAN SPACE AGENCY. All that research will be cute sitting around with no real implementation because their respective nation can't muster support for space exploration.
English

@Looseynut @noinconsistency Any foreign researcher actually working in related fields is way more directly involved than the average American taxpayer
English

@Dendro_Gaster @noinconsistency This statement is better fitted for everyone else who is not American. Our taxes go to the agency and our institutions provide the education and resources to said agency.
Americans are more involved than most of the planet
English

You don’t want others to claim credit for America’s achievements, yet you’ve contributed nothing yourself and still want to take pride in NASA’s success. That’s petty and hypocritical.
Frontierism@frontierism
Seriously asking: why should we represent “all of humanity” when America is the only country to ever make any real progress towards space exploration?
