To suggest that they weren't a key component in writing their own show is crazy. You can't say "original writers" broadly and then say "the ones I don't like don't count"

The original WRITERS left after the first series. The CREATORS are massive narcissist who thought they knew how to write.
Almost the same situation with Back 4 Blood. Yeah, technically it's the same creators, but the people behind the scenes who made Left 4 Dead good were gone from the studio and still working at Valve.
Aaron Ehasz was the lead Writer on ATLA, he left and most of the writers left. That's why everything after it sucks.

When the original writers left after the end of the first series, all these new people who thought they knew how to write these characters properly have just bastardized them to the highest degree.
