$IREN investors need to understand the difference between PRICE and VALUE. Over the last few days, I’ve seen fear-mongering accounts take the recent Founder-CEO RSU package and run wild with it. Dilution concerns are fair and questioning management is fair. Personally, I do wish that their RSU package is performance tied. But forming your entire investment thesis based on an X account that isn’t on the Board, isn’t in the room, and doesn’t have access to the information the independent directors used to make their decision is absolutely insane. Here are the facts: $IREN is targeting $3.7 BILLION in ARR by the end of CY2026 with $3.1 BILLION is already contracted. The Founders’ new equity awards vest over 4 years, with each tranche locked for another 2 years. The final tranche cannot be sold until FY2033 and they will receive no further equity grants until FY2031. And btw, this RSU process began in mid-2025, when $IREN’s share price was trading at $8-9 range. Did that stop the share price from going up? Because from what we know, it went 600% up after. That also means that since mid 2025, the Board waited for the founders to execute and so far; > Signed major customers like $MSFT $9.7B contract and $NVDA $3.4B contract. > Contracted ARR reached $3.1B from $2.3B, a 35% growth. > Raised ARR guidance to $3.7B. > $IREN footprint expanded from North America to Europe and Australia. And now $IREN has reportedly been named as a contender in Anthropic’s massive Australian data-center process seeking at least 1.4 GW of capacity. With all that being achieved, the Board then decided to approve the compensation. You don’t have to like the HUGE compensation package but we cannot argue that they were compensated for nothing. If you are an investor here, your main concerns now should be; > Is management hitting its targets? > Is ARR growing? > Are further contracts being signed? > Is capacity coming online? That is how I will judge $IREN if it’s still a worthy investment or not. Not by the share price on a random Tuesday. SHARE PRICE IS NOT VALUE. If I believe a company is worth significantly more than what the market is pricing it at and nothing has changed in my thesis about the company, I should be happy for being able to buy the shares cheap. Know what you own but if not, be better informed. The next few earnings report will be crucial now.
