You turn up to view a house and there are 150 Indians in the queue. Currently, over 70% of Irish people in their twenties are living at home with their parents, that figure rises to 80% in some parts of the country. While foreigners are snapping up all the houses, the government added insult to injury when they released a video offering advice to young Irish people who are forced to move back in with their parents. Irish people are no longer revered as the indigenous population of our ancient island, now we are replaceable economic units. Even India puts restrictions on certain foreigners buying property in their country, but in Ireland it seems like the entire island is for sale to the highest bidder.
