In addition to weakening FOIA, Republicans also voted to give away $100M+ in PERMANENT tax cuts to the wealthy while only giving working Arkansans a *one-time* $150 credit. Democratic state rep @DeniseforAR explained why this bill is a bad deal for our state

Let's cut: regressive taxes (grocery tax), end food deserts; & add: earned income & child care tax credits, maternal infant care, universal pre-K, afterschool & summer programs, affordable housing & statewide broadband, mental health, neurodiverse & foster care...the list goes on

Senator @xjelliott makes it plain. A one-time $150 credit. One million Arkansans are just supposed smile and say thank you? Sarah clearly doesn’t care about solving real issues. Imagine if we had a government that helped fix problems instead of aggressively creating them.

@DeniseforAR Why is it that only public school students have to do this? If private schools, religious schools ad home schoolers can get vouchers, why don't they have the same requirement for public service?
