Thank you to everyone who have followed, interacted, read my post, and became mutuals with me throughout Chainsaw Man. There have been times i've messed up or let bad moments get to me, but overall, following this story publicly has been a great ride. Thank you for everything!

I feel like there's probably more im leaving out and I still haven't looked at many of the replies i've received today. However, I did what I sought to do and followed this story until the end. So, i'm just gonna leave it at that for now and relax a bit. Until the next one ✌️

I appreciate everyone's understanding with that 🙏. As for the future of this account, im unsure. I'll definitely follow whatever else Fujimoto creates, but im unsure about the rest. Since I don't have a plan, I'm just gonna take a short break and wing it from there.

I love this panel. Not only is it the perfect encapsulation of Denji coming to terms with his life despite longing for more, but I feel like it also represents many Chainsaw Man fan's reading this chapter today who have to accept whatever feelings they have about this ending.

@ZenderENDR It's not that I can't grasp it, if you read my other post you'll see that. The reason I am saying it's hard to say is because my feelings are so complex. You can't just make up thoughts about something you've held dear for years in less than 2 hours lol.

As for what I think of about Chainsaw Man as a whole? Hard to say. My connection to the story is very complex, but overall, I feel grateful. It's been nice watching someone who was unhappy try his best to chase what might bring him joy. I relate to that and the desire for more.

Wanting better things for yourself is normal. But, you also have to learn how to live with what you can't have. I feel like these are the two main take aways I'm understanding from Chainsaw Man. It's not a easy thing to accept for yourself, but it's a valuable part of life.

Probably shouldn't throw the word great around so loosely though, this is still fresh in my head. Also, this ending isnt meant to be something great. Feels more like Fujimoto wants to convey the opposite. Things don't have to be great for you to happy.

Considering how Chainsaw Man began, with Denji realizing it was okay to want more. And how it ends, with him coming to terms with what he can’t have. This feels like a fitting, dare I say, great ending.

The bittersweet thing about this ending is that Denji still longs for many things he doesn't have. He may never have them, so… he just has to live without them, face those feelings of envy, and ultimately move on with his life like anyone else would.

I was convinced there'd be a part 3, but with this ending... I can truly say it isn’t necessary. Denji got to live an insane dream as Chainsaw Man, through all the good and the bad. That dream is finally over, and he's been given regular life that doesn’t need to be seen.
