Although this photo shows that winning is in the family bloodline, this whole team has become a family with most of them playing together for years. Senior Blaine Bellamy, who is Head Coach Dale Bellamy's nephew, pitched all 7 innings, only allowing 2 hits. Although Blaine struck out the final two batters to clinch their 6th championship in a row, counting Fall and Spring baseball seasons, he said he doesn't have to rely on strikeouts because he trusts his teammates. Both he and MLB Prospect Eli Willits, emphasized the best part of winning this championship was doing it alongside their brothers. Eli Willits gave a lot of credit for their winning legacy to Coach Bellamy, who set the expection of the team coming to practice ready to work hard and learn something new everyday. Willits said he plans to enter the MLB draft and will either go on to play professional baseball next year, or will play at OU. It is a win-win for the young short stop from Ft . Cobb- Broxton, who knows a thing or two about winning.
