If you just watch the women, they do not enjoy his company. They are fake laughing, they do not find him funny or charming. They are not smiling at him, they are only there for the photo op. I have NEVER understood this. I've worked with dozens and dozens of Indian colleagues over the years. I recall 3 that were real sharp, good folks I'd gladly work with. The rest have been basically disasters. I know I'm not alone in this experience- Why is India the "Go To" for tech workers? The hourly rate? Surely there are incompetents from other countries that will work cheaper.

David Bier and the other clowns at Cato preach the undeniable benefits of "high skill" immigration, holding up Indian h1b tech workers as the Paragon of it. If you look closer, many have fake credentials and drag 2 or 3 lower skill family members with them. In practice h1bs drop wages of white collar workers (as intended) and in practice Cato has never met an immigrant they didn't want to bring here except maybe the Afrikaners.

If you want to know how my life is going, we saw a mouse inside the house this morning. A singular, small mouse. My solution was to act like a normal human and buy a mousetrap. What are we doing? We're going to a hotel until an exterminator comes, lays traps and figure out any possible entry points. Why? Wife is worried about the Hanta virus and other diseases rodents can spread. Am I being unreasonable in thinking evacuating is ridiculous? It was a tiny field mouse. There's no visible droppings anywhere I can see. "I can't sleep knowing there is a filthy wild rodent in the house"
