I have mixed feelings about this. It’s a step in the right direction but again, avoids the main problem.
The top 5 nationalities accounted for 39% of all asylum claims:
- Pakistan – 11%
- Eritrea – 9%
- Iran – 7%
- Afghanistan – 6%
- Bangladesh – 6%
So my question is, why not start with Pakistan?

I cannot believe the UK closed this deal with £200m+ going straight to UK contractors lmao. So they get taxable revenue back into the UK economy AND make heavy interest on the loan too. Nigerian contractors should've been a part of this deal. Nigerian government got fleeced.

KPMG, Costa, BUPA have been fined by the UK government for underpaying workers. What is the Tinubu administration doing in this regard, knowing that many Chinese, Indians and Nigerian owned companies especially Banks are underpaying workers.
