@Aidsmonste @benjamin0402 @PicturesFoIder Yes. You are the last one. It’s lonely when you are the only one smart enough to know the truth. Honestly looks like he pulled his punch. Probably should be fired for not using enough force. He would have hit a man much harder.

If you actually watch and listen to this 15 second clip, we’re gonna see that the woman legally try to not only resist arrest but also attempted assault and battery on a police officer. She fucked around and she found out stop being a walk hypocrite that is just brainwashed into believing that this is, this is better than everything else God am I the only person that is not brainwashed nowadays?

@_vargaalex I know technically it is B, but from a user perspective, A is better because the cancel button in B looks like it is “grayed out” and doesn’t work. Makes it look broken.

@October2Leon @ask_aubry Just curious, do you have the same opinion if it said, “ I’m teaching my sons that it’s perfectly acceptable to be dependent on a woman.”?

@ask_aubry I mean u shouldnt be fully dependent, but there are responsibilities men carry that women do depend on men for. Men just need better influences as children to become reliable partners in the future

@Unnati_twts It's incredible how some folks on social media consider this the ultimate benchmark. In reality, it's the bare minimum, anyone with empathy and a caring heart has been doing this for years without the need to broadcast it on social media.

dating is cool, but have you sat with your parents, cooked for them, watched their favourite show together and discussed about your life and job?

@Dunder_viking @GRITCULT Kind of a selfish view. You wouldn’t change your mother’s life because of how much value it provided you… has nothing to do with what she might have changed given an opportunity. IDK, everyone finds happiness in different things, so maybe she was happy.

Its a shame, the most important and precious role of a women is to be a mother. How can our species continue without them? We really have to start valuing the mother role more in modern age. My mother, mum of 4 stayed at home and I wouldn't have changed it for the world. She brough so much value to my life by being a stay at home mother who was there for me.

@DThompsonDev Solid advice. I haven’t been job hunting in a minute, so how important would you say a decked out LinkedIn profile is for tech workers. As opposed to more traditional résumés?

Me "Your LinkedIn profile is empty. You are trying to get your first job in tech? Add some info, take some photos of your projects, maybe even you at meetups." Junior "I don't have any photos at meetups because I haven't gone to one before. What should I do?" Me "go to a meetup, network with developers in your area, make some connections and then go take a picture of yourself there." If you find yourself not having certain things that could be value adds, then make them a reality. You don't have to sit there and say "Well I don't have XYZ nothing I can do!" Create the change you want to see!

Does anyone think cyber defenders will ever be in a position were we aren’t just playing catch up to new adversarial tactics? Even when security research finds new stuff first, defender speed is slow to implement protection/detection. Job security I guess.

@bettersafetynet Example. IP enrichment. If an org chooses to reuse public IPs internally behind a NAT (always fun when they do but meh), then how does the SIEM enrich them. Does it know when an external IP is actually an internally NATed address or not. Niche case maybe, but I’ve seen it before.

@bettersafetynet Very good question. Assuming 3 tiered analyst system, I would say madatory at level 2. What I see is sometimes a misunderstanding of “real” data vs enriched data, and knowing how reliable enrichment is in a given org is reliant on understanding how the SIEM processes that data.

Very odd & potentially controversial question. Do you think a SOC analyst needs to understand SIEM engineering? (Log pipelines, enrichment, etc?) If so, at what SOC tier? I'm really struggling with this. It's helpful at any tier, but where is this info needed?

@ask_aubry Sometimes it’s best to know when two people have different boundaries and are incompatible. Asking/forcing a change will only breed resentment.

@ask_aubry This is an interesting situation, and perfect example of the difference in setting boundaries for yourself instead of someone else. If it bothers him, that’s okay; but he must choose to accept it and change, or leave. Asking her to change is attempting to set boundaries for her.

🎲 Tabletop scenario time! You're the CISO of a major corporation. Suddenly, you discover stalkerware on an executive's endpoint. But wait, there's more! The stalkerware's c2 itself is breached, and the collected data leaks to the dark web. What do you do?

@UK_Daniel_Card I didn’t really answer the question though. I think 5 min is fine on average. But as others have pointed out, it is highly variable. I wouldn’t consider it a hostile work environment if it is only for security and not being used to gauge work level.

@UK_Daniel_Card I would say screen lock is a deterrent to insider threats in most cases, unless your workstation is easily accessible to the public. Though I would prefer a dynamic lock that activates when you leave your workstation unattended.

Lock screen enabling after 5 minutes... do you think this is good security? or do you think this creates a hostile working environment where people are therefore more likely to act in a way which overall has a negative security posture impact? #discuss #cyber #Windows #Security
