fwiw i think the memecoin thing is a desperate cry for help, people need the tools to create their own money so as to not be held hostage by central banks and their inflationary policies; memecoins showed us the shape of things to come, but the хаotic nature of speculators is not the stable foundation from which to build an alternate monetary system. we need frictionless on-ramps, easy ways to create new currencies that are not strapped to some arbitrary asset like gold, but rather can be pinned to a basket of goods that people actually need and use. this is how you get sovereign individuals.
